Problem:
Most scan operators who use barcoded docs must remember to select pre-index or full-index in order to enable the bar code detection feature. This setting can now be pre-selected in the scan queue process option. Its a small checkbox in the extreme lower left of the main process window option.
Solution:
The selection in the config allows for pre-indexing to be set but the option is not where you think it would in the advanced option screen of scan process config. There is a single grayed checkbox in the intial process option screen that will go live once you select a preselected document type. The single checkbox is for "set to Pre-Index". If you set the document type and don't set this checkbox the option defaults to FULL INDEX which is generally a bad idea.
