Upload of large docs - web server on Windows 2003

Problem:

User received message "Request object 007~ASP 0104~Operation not Allowed" when attempting to load a large document (almost 10MB) via the web client.

Solution:

Issue is specific to Windows 2003, it seeems. Below is the message from Hyland support that led to the resolution:

Go into IIS, highlight the server, right click and go to properties. There is an option to "Allow changes to MetaBase configuration while IIS is running." Check this. Then go to the metabase.xml file located in c:windowssystem32inetsrv. There is a variable called "AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed." You must change this value to the number of bytes you would like to be able to upload (must be greater than that set in site_vars.asp. Go back into the properties and uncheck the option to allow changes to metabase.xml. All set.

This is for 2003, you will not have to do this with 2000.
